Sharon;
When I first heard of your book (from you), I thought "okay why not support her efforts". I'm not an avid reader and was thinking all the while that I'd look at, open it, read a couple paragraphs and say to myself.....blah, blah, blah and put it away. You could not have proven me more wrong if you tried. I loved the book. No. Really. I LOVED the book. Our paths have paralled each other's in so many ways. It is re-assuring to know that God brought us both so far. From abusive-monster husband + child(ren), thru the yuck of the world to where we are now with loving, caring, Christ-filled husbands that love and support us.
Looking forward to your next endeavor! See ya down the road on an ERV!

OH, OH, OHHHHH. I loved the book. No. Really. I loved the book. I am not, by nature, an avid reader and I have all the excuses that one would need to back that up. No time, boring, too busy to sit that long, etc. But, I have thoroughly enjoyed this book even to the point that my husband commented on the enthusiasm I had to get back to the book and was spending time during the day and evening (passing up favorite TV shows or preparing workshops) to read.

The events in your life and those in my life are so closely paralleled. It's eerie. 1st husband = abusive monster = child(ren). Too much time spent in bar setting (for what ever reason). Loss of child, Mental collapse, God restoring physical, mental and spiritual well-being. God giving us godly husbands that are there to love and support us.

Thank you for sharing your life and more importantly, your faith with us.

Sharon,
Thank you so very much for your book. Today is Sunday and I just finished reading it. Needless to say, I could not put it down; I started it on Wednesday. I have to say that I experienced a wide range of emotions throughout: confusion, anger, amazement and humility to name a few. That a person could go through so much and still be the beautiful person that you are was quite humbling. And your forgiveness for others truly imitates Jesus. It also made me realize how much grace God has extended to me being that my life is dull, boring and very peaceful containing little drama. I do not say this in a bad way; I am very content with my life and wouldn't have it any other way. I look back and see how much God has protected me each and every day. Thank you for helping me to see this grace. And thank you for letting us see your life so that we may learn and be grateful. I write these thoughts rather than saying them to you in person because I think I will break down in tears when I see you and not be able to convey my thoughts to you as I so want to. Thank you again and may God continue to bless you and hold you in his loving hands.

i am fully convinced that many women and men alike will turn their lives to Christ because of your testimony. Sharon, why else would Christ lead you to write the book? He's using you in such a powerful and beautiful way and i know that you can feel His strength as well as His grace and blessings upon you.

being obedient is one of the best things we can give back to Christ for saving us.

i love you,

Hi Sharon. I met you in the Irvine neighborhood as I was walking my dog and you were handing out invitations to the Perkside signing. I won't be able to make the signing, but viewed the website and have never been so drawn to order a book. Looking forward to reading of your challenges and opportunities you offered to share.

Sharon,

Claire, Molly and I were honored to be a part your first book signing in Irvine. It's nice to have you as a neighbor and friend, especially now that you are famous.

May you get a bunch of these wonderful books out to the world fast so you can start on your 2nd printing as well as your follow-up sequel.

Your friend & neighbor,

Mike Ginther
